As excitement builds for Tyson Fury’s return to the ring against former UFC champion Francis Ngannou, two giant statues of the fighters have been installed in Potters Field Park, London.
The WBC heavyweight champion will face the professional boxing debutant on October 28 in Saudi Arabia and kick off the massive entertainment festival in the country.
To celebrate the event, which some dismiss as somewhere between a curiosity and a circus act, a mammoth boxing ring has been erected in the shadow of London’s iconic Tower Bridge.

In it sits titanic depictions of the Gypsy King and the UFC legend, separated by an equally vast, and gaudy, golden crown which has been adorned with the tagline of the fight – Battle of the Baddest.
Fans and tourists can feast their eyes on the attraction, created by UNIT 9 production studios, in the two weeks leading up to the bout.
